I am having my third baby and already showing anyone been in the same boat ?

I have already two girls and I am only 7 weeks with this baby. Already I am showing and have quite a round defined bump, my dates are ok, too early for a scan yet have 5 weeks until I get that anybody been in this situation I am slimmer than previous pregancies by about a stone. Finding it hard to keep it a secret !!!! Would love to hear your views

I'm 6 weeks pregnant so almost where you are. Congratulations! I told everyone as soon as I knew - couldn't keep the secret in.

This is my 4th baby and I already notice my tummy being very rounded, but my midwife said it was due to gas and bloating and water retention since the baby is just the size of a grain of rice right now. That might be the case with you, too, or it could very well be that your body is just getting into the pregnancy sooner since you've been through this before.

I showed a lot quicker after I had been pregnant before.

Hey, is it possible you're having twins? They run in my family and every time I'm expecting I wonder............

Two years ago when I got pregnant, I tried very hard to keep it a secret too, but at 8 weeks it was kinda difficult. My brother was convinced that my doctor had my dates wrong, but he didn't. I understand that with second & third babies you tend to show alot quicker. One of my work mates right now is 14 weeks & she looks like she is ready to deliver tomorrow. I told her that she is going to have a twin, but she went to the doctor on Thursday & he said it's just one baby. She also had a 4 year old daughter as well.

Might be a change of sex this time; I had two girls to start off with too; on my third, it was the other way round - I didn't show at all until I was 26 weeks; lots of people didn't know I was pregnant. Either that, or there may be two in there!!

Im also 7 weeks pregnant i turn 8 weeks on friday, my due date is 3/20/08 and yes i am showing as well on my THIRD baby as well, one girl one boy already, and i thought i was going insane! im glad im not the only one. Im not sure if its my excitement or not but i can definately feel either alot of gas or the baby fluttering already as well. Good Luck to you and I hope you have a healthy baby! CONGRATS!

I too showed very early with number three, probably around the same time as you. I was also a stone lighter (once!) which I think was the reason for it. They told me I had an enormas placenta which might have had something to do with it. All the best !

I noticed that my belly showed up earlier in subsequent pregnancies than it did in the first couple.
The fact that you are thinner probably makes it more obvious. After a couple pregnancies it also gets harder to keep those muscles toned as tight.
Relax, wear baggy clothes and be happy--if necessary avoid the people who may be negative about the pregnancy, especially if that is why you want to keep it a secret.

Happened to my friend, by 12 weeks she looked 6 months pregnant (she is normally slim) I thought she had either got her dates wrong of was expecting twins, but when she went for scan she was only 12 weeks with one baby!! I couldn't believe it honestly she looks so big!!

i am coming up to 12 weeks but look more like 20 weeks. i started showing around 8 weeks too. this is my third baby.

im 10 weeks pregnant with my 5th, and i look as though im 5 mths pregnant. im trying to hide it from the other children, but finding it really hard.
but at least i'll get to eat loads of chocolate and cakes :)

I already have a sizeable bump and I am 8 weeks with twins. maybe you have more than one in there!
