He already endorsed Ron Paul over 25 years ago, for his 'real' conservative ideas.

they are all surprisingly frightening. Bachmann is the candidate for people who think of Palin is in basic terms too cerebral. Perry is on the take overtly as is Gingrich. all of them look attainable to the optimum bidder. all of them seek for casting off the adverse, elderly, susceptible, and unemployed. all of them look in choose of taxing the working classification and giving the extremely wealthy much greater reward. i'm uncertain some "theocratic" government. finding on the reality that 4 hundred or fewer human beings very own an outstanding style of the rustic, greater desirable than the different 310 million or so, very own, i'd think of they have been working in direction of a dictatorship, or monarchy. We specific as hell do no longer stay in a democracy or republic from now on. no longer with those numbers. Even the U. S. census says over a million/2 human beings stay in poverty. whilst the "a million%" enjoys greater riches than ever interior the historic previous of the worldwide!!!

Reagan spoke favorably of Ron Paul back in the '80s.

I cant remember him ever mentioning any of the others, but that doesnt mean he didnt.

Youd have to ask him, but thats not going to happen, so I would suggest doing your research and picking a candidate that you think is best for the country.

Ron Paul was pivotal in helping Reagan get the nomination. Ron Paul is the true conservative today. If Reagan were alive today I bet he'd jump at the chance to return the favor.

My hunch says John McCain or Tommy Thompson. It is tough to tell with how far right the Republican party has gone in the past decade. Most of the candidates running are far more conservative than Ronald Reagan ever was. Giuliani is the only one who is clearly to the left of Ronald Reagan. It is tough to tell where either Mitt Romney or Fred Thompson truly stands, which is why I can't say either of them.

He wouldn't have. He was a "loyal Republican"- and would've waited until AFTER the Primaries to back anyone. THAT way- he couldn't be "wrong". :) He might've been a "B" actor- but he was NO slouch.
