The movie is old and I am probably spelling it wrong, but it has to do with a bio-engenered virtural reality video game. It looked like a blob and it was alive, and to play, the system (Exsistance) had to plug directly into the back of your head...
The characters end up in a very 'real' game as it is directly connected and shown through your brain. You have to get through everything, there was a cool gun that was made out of bone... *sighs*
Does ANY ONE KNOW the correct spelling of this movie or have heard of this movie?

...it's spelled "eXistenZ", at least that's the way the main title credits showed it, including the unusual caps!!!
...once again, the creatively demented mind of director David Cronenberg has spewed out a most compelling, unusual, twisted, bizarre and wholly entertaining conglomeration of a melding of flesh and technology...kinda sorta like a videogame eXtentioN take on one of his previous films, "Videodrome"...
