ok well i wanted to kno how old you have to be in california to get emancipated. and what it consist of. also please give me an estimate on how much you think the bill would be every month. for rent, electricity, food, gas, car ect. please help me out. i need as much help as i can get. what do you have to do to become emancipated?? please help....

i live in fresno, california.. i will also be living with current boyfriend of 2 years who has a great job.

California:
"You must be at least fourteen years old.
You must be living apart from your parents with their consent or acquiescence.
You must be managing your finances and have a legal source of income.
The judge must find that emancipation is in your best interests.
The judge also wants to see that you are in school or have a GED. "

Cost of living varies wildly in CA, it's impossible to estimate your living expenses without knowing the city. For a real rough estimate, look in the want ads for rentals -- whatever the rent is, figure at least that much for other expenses.

schazjmd has it correct. If you cannot prove that you have an income (can be a trust fund, interest income or job) that you are capable of supporting yourself with you don't even stand a chance.
If you only want to get emancipated from your parents so you can move in with your boyfriend that won't cut it.

Well, I know in San Jose a crappy 2 bdrm apartment back in 1992 was over $1,200 a month.

THE REAL WORLD IS HARSH AND UNKIND!!! if you are not getting abused stay a child as long as you can! trust me it sucks growing up!
