I moved in this place and the air was working fine at first . Then i noticed the air wasn't cooling right, I looked outside and the fan wasn't turning. I turned the air off. I have tried the air several times since then and the fan would turn sometimes and others not. Can anyone please tell me what is possibly wrong? Thank You.

Thanks for the answers so far. To let you all know. I don't intend on fixing it myself. I am looking for answer to the possiblity of what is the problem so I don't get cheated. I already had someone come out and fix the fan inside because it had stopped and from that this problem has occured.. This is why I need to know a more specific answer before i have someone out again, (if anyone knows).

Obviously you need to call a technician to come out and repair it.I wouldn't suggest that you try and do it yourself.

You absolutely need a professional to check it out. It could be something simple or complicated as there are many parts to go wrong. We had a downstairs central air unit cease functioning and it turned out to be a minor thing...around $200 and we were up and running again.

TRY OILING THE FAN SHAFT FRONT AND BACK IT`S A DIY PROJECT...
