Follow my dreams for sure.
No job pays well enough to turn up day in day out and hate every minute I'm there.

I guess I will continue to follow my dreams. I have been at both ends of the scale money wise, and am pretty much poor now but am much richer for being happy. My ex-husband is very well to do (his own plane, vacation homes, two corvettes, money out the a**, but I would much rather be where I am today clipping coupons, and shopping at thrift stores with my current husband and our children. I know the money will never be there like it once was and am completely fine with that. Money can make life easier, but will not make you happy. Happy comes from inside you.

i have done both, and both have advantages.
I built a money making business in 1998 and wasliving like a king, doing what I liked and making so much money I bought 2 different girl friends cars and when they ditched me, it was not a matter I had spent money on them.
I am able to retire in 6 months now and I would have prefered following my dreams. I was able to do this with my last business and as I noted I made a monitary killing.
But most folks like attorneys and others have told me they would rather have done what they liked than to make money. Some jobs are just not worth the money.
Peace of mind, sleeping knowing you are happy matters.
I lost my wife while working long hours for a slave driver. She met an old boy friend and started screwing him. It was not worth what I was paid to lose my wife.

I'll just say this: Money doesn't buy happiness, but I'm a hell of a lot happier when I have money.
I guess it depends on my responsibilities. I would have a job I hate that pays well if it meant my son could go to college and not want for anything.
But of course I'd prefer to have a job I love, no matter what the salary was. But unfortunately, can't always have my cake, and eat it too! :-)

Follow my dreams. Even if I do end up poor, I'd be able to get some money to live.

I would take the job I hate rather than be poor. If my life outside of work is good I could put up with a job I didn't like, I have in the past.

Since it is said that money cannot buy happiness I believe in being happy. Since I don't need any money for happiness, then yes, I would do what I love and enjoy my chosen job.
For my job I want to put the little stickers on the rubiks cube. That's the only way I can do the puzzle.
