The "Fatherboard" is a new device that could revolutionize handheld computing. While a motherboard holds all the 'stuff' you need to run a typical computer, the Fatherboard has everything you need to run your computer on your PDA!

well connectors have male and female.. e.g. cpu has prongs.. so thats a "male" type connector.. and the motherboard itself has holes .. with connectors thats normally a "female" type connector... e.g. check ya vga connector etc..

Although i have a soundcard.. and that takes a daughter board for extra sounds

(an sw1000xg.. with an an1x plugin card)

confused?!?! hopefully not =)

a cpu , memory , graphic card , pci card etc.. plugs into a motherboard...

so a motherboard is more fitting if you think about it =)
