They are both only average passers. I'll go with Leftwich if for no other reason cause he's tough as nails. Playing on a bum-ankle in college, his linemen having to carry him after ever pass he completed, that's hardcore.

Hmm... If both were actually healthy I'd have to take Culpepper! His time in Minnesota with Moss and friends was very impressive! Leftwich hasn't had a monster season like that of Culpepper.
If I was a GM of a team today, I'd much rather have Leftwich. While not 100% in the last few years at least he has shown he can compete for a starting NFL job. Culpepper, his doctors and the Dolphins rushed his return and it might ruin the rest of his career.

They both get hurt alot. But in the days at Minn. Culpepper had the highest scoring offence in the nfl. Leftwich never did that. Over all Culpepper is better.

Byron Leftwich would NOT be a starter on any other team in the NFL. He is not even the starter on the team he plays for. Seems to me he got benched last year for a guy who would not even be on any other team's roster.
So by default, Culpepper.

Leftwich is much better than Culpepper. I still don't know why the Jaguars took him out of the starting spot.

I still have to go with Culfumbler..
although im a die hard Vikes fan, so I may be a bit bias here..
he had some great seasons as a Minnesota Viking with Randy Moss flying down the end zone.
50, 60 , 70, and 80 yard hail marries for TDs, when hooking up with Moss, it was as good as football got for Minnesota.
Not to mention the one finger, feet sliding just inbounce for the endzone catch on Moss's part.. (done a few times)
good lord the two complemented each other so well.
