Yes.

Both are wars against a behavior.

Which is like declaring marriage to a song -- looks great on paper, utterly meaningless in reality.

Yup.....

And I think that the "War on Terror" and the Patriot Act are reasons that some people think that it was an inside job.

Not defending them. I haven't read EVERYTING that has been reported about 9/11 to come to a truly educated decision about it. I see some points of the "conspiracy theorist" as well as those of people from the other side.

BUT....could Bush have gotten away with even 1/4 of the crap that he has done had it not been for 9/11 and his "War on Terror"?
