I wish...but everybody in Green Bay wants Favre to break Marino's TD record. Unfortunatly for them, if he breaks the TD record, he will also probably break George Blanda's INT record. HA HA!!

Maybe....if it does happen, it will be Favre's own doing...
Like someone else said, if they fall out of the playoff race, they have to think of the future...
The coach isn't necessarily a Favre guy...I mean, Favre has been given every chance to walk away with dignity, or go elsewhere to further whatever aspirations he still has. Didn't do it. He certainly hasn't gone out of his way to make an example to the boys for his new coach...being at the other end of the country while some of his better targets left Green Bay to wear new shirts.
The franchise loves him, the fans love him...heck, I used to hate the number when he lined up against us, but you can't help but admire the guy under the helmet and the football he can play... BUT, how long are they prepared to accommodate him when the Pack haven't been putting up the kind of numbers they used to....?
My bet is that Rodgers (or a free agent) may find their way into the fold at some point....
Go on you Pack fans....tear me apart!

Depends on the playoff race! If they somehow (I think unlikely, but possible in the sad NFC) contend for a playoff position Favre has to play!
In the AFC the Packers would have no mathematical shot after week 10 and Favre would need to take a seat to start the development of the future QB! I don't think anyone really knows what the Packers have in Rodgers, if he hasn't been given a shot in his 3/4 years in the league because they have a future Hall of Famer (who has jerked the team around) regarding retirement that last few years!

Ask anybody and that they could say Brett Favre in a heart beat. Ask the completed packers corporation. NO. And whilst they say no, meaning there staggering. why? shall we are saying Favre is to start. they have a triumphing season for twelve months. He leaves. then what ? Rodgers would be much extra rusty, older, heck he may even finally end up leaving in accordance together with his settlement. Sorry, i admire Brett Favre yet Rodgers has to start so the packers might desire to get on with there destiny. Its concerning the gang, no longer in basic terms one specific participant. triumphing video games extra years is a long much extra important than triumphing with favre one million year. Rodgers desires his adventure and the packers can not blow away the practices they have been doing with rodgers. If rodgers left after favre commencing an entire season back, they could be in a ****** up quarterback difficulty like the bears. No way. If i've got been the instructor, i could might desire to start Rodgers immediately. Rodgers would be there for years now. specific, favre might win video games, yet its in basic terms twelve months. I know the veteran quarterback and need he famous a team to play in. Ravens, bucs, skins, dolphins, jets, raiders, and doubtless a pair of alternative communities may well be elective. on the tip, its concerning the earnings of the eco-friendly Bay Packers.

Favre is one the all-time greats, but if he really cared about the Pack he would have retired. They have no QB of the future because Rodgers never gets a chance to prove himself, and who knows who will replace Brett now. Walk off the field, Brett, while you can still walk.

Hell No!
Brett Favre is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. Aaron Rogers is a 3rd year player who in his only significant appearance in a regular season game, got hurt.
Get real.
Rogers is not going to take Brett favres job away from him until he retires.

No because the Packers dont have the balls to do it. Brett is a Packer ICON. So they couldnt do it, even if it is Brett last ride on the horse. they want to send him out with a bang. But they are hurting there future tryin to make there past content because when Favre does leave they dont know what they have at QB.

God, I hope not... Five friends and I got tickets in section 107 row 1, seats 7-12 to the Dec 9th game against the Raiders, and we're mainly going to see Favre before he retires... I'd hate to pay all that money, drive from 20 hours from the armpit of Ontario, just to not see Favre...

Only if Favre breaks both of his legs. Aaron Rodgers is another product of Cal, that has no idea how to play football.

Even if Brett starts sucking really bad, Mike McCarthy doesn't have the guts to bench him. Then if Brett throws a horrible intercetion, you would see Mike Holmgren get on his case. With McCarthy, he is just like oh well
