Are they stupid or something? He is just one guy in a huge bureacracy. We would be out of Iraq by now if Bush didn't run into the do-nothing but complain politicians in office.

Huh? Bush alone made the decision to enter Iraq? Clearly the education system is in decay if you think Bush is a dictator.

Because he doesn't retaliate against them. He's an easy target. See, if people went hatin' on John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid, the whole Democratic Party would assail those folks. But when Bush is hated on, he just turns the other cheek...

to Muscat: I must say that Abraham Lincoln probably grabbed the most powers of any President, for himself, that is (like declaring martial law, suspending habeas corpus, etc.) I would say FDR grabbed the most power for the government, but that's a bit different.

It's partly GWB's fault. The dems have been attacking him, both on a personal and a policy basis for almost 8 years, and he rarely fights back. They do the attacks to discredit things that he does well, and to make anyone who thinks he's a good president feel foolish, and keep the opinion to their self. As for me, I know he does some things well (keeping us safe from terrorists) and some things not so well (spending and easy on illegals). GWB needed to communicate better and answer the criticisms...and perception of incompetency would not be fact to so many.

I don't hate Bush. I have no strong opinion of him as a person one way or the other.

I oppose Bush as a politician because I (and federal courts) consider many of his actions to be criminal.

If not for Bush, we never would have been in Iraq in the first place.

I think one of the main reasons is pay back for Conservatives giving Clinton such a hard time for his indiscretions.

Same reasons dems hated reagan and thought abraham lincoln was crazy. They will never get it. To them, war is evil no matter what the circumstances.
