Okay, 19 hr's batting leadoff while he still isn't even close to being in his home run hitting prime. 83 runs, enough said. 28 stolen bases, enough said. 62 rbis which is plenty batting leadoff. Now here is where the critisizm comes in. He is batting .284. Why is this not important as a leadoff hitter? Because he has a .390 OBP. Sure he might not get as many hits as Ichiro but he gets on base a higher percentage of the time...isn't that what a leadoff hitter is supposed to do?

Now the best part of his game, his enthusiasm. He goes full out after every ball, which results in gold glove caliber center fielding. He plays everyday, and gives everything he has got.

Someone on YA named Ambrose thinks he's overrated. He takes it to a new level. Here is what he said"Sizemore sucks, and you know what else? He's overrated filth. He can't do anything right". Well that overrated filth was the 2nd player ever to hit 25+ HR, steal 20+ bases, have 50+ doubles, and have 10+ triples in a season.

Sizemore is one of, if not the best, player in the game today. He has an above average arm, a great fielder, he's fast, can hit for power, and average. In his prime I see him as a 40-40 guy woth 100+ RBI(when he moves lower in the lineup).320 BA and some gold gloves. He plays like Trot Nixon(he gives it all he has)except has has much, much, much more talent than Nixon.

Ozzie Gullien thinks he's the best player of our generation. After the White Sox beat the Indians to knock them out of the 2005 playoffs he personally went over to Sizemore and told him that he was the best player he had ever seen. He calls Sizemore superman. Here are some quotes on Sizemore

"A pitcher is going to have to work his you-know-what off to beat him."
—Indians manager Eric Wedge

"I’m very impressed by him—Grady is very good and he’s going to lead that team."
—NBA superstar LeBron James

"Grady is a very good all-around player. He’s on his way to stardom."
—Former big-league manager Lou Piniella

"The way he carries himself, he acts like he has been here for ten years."
—Former Indians star Rick Manning

"Grady is what every boy in America should grow up to be."
—Indians coach Derek Shelton

"I wish you could bottle what what he has and give it to every guy you draft."
—Shelton

"He’s one of the better people I know in sports, and one of the better people, period."
—Grady's agent Joe Urbon

Overrated? Anyone who says he is overrated has lost it.

I think Grady is UNDERRATED he's one of the few players that actually hustles on every play either in the field or running bases plus he's the second Major League player in history to record 50 doubles, 10 triples, 20 homers and 20 steals in the same season

A lot of people think they know baseball and don't. The fact is he is something else. There may be better leadoff hitters, but Grady is great nevertheless.

Never heard that he was over rated, he is on his way to becoming a great player. He does need to hit .300 though, that is mandatory.

He's a pretty good player, almost reminds me of a younger Johnny Damon. I think women like him because they think he's cute/hot. He's alright.
