I have hair on my private but i have not had my period yet, what does this mean?

its a sign your healthy.
your suppose to get hair before you get your period.
thats why doctors sometimes ask if you have any hair down there yet. becasue its a sign.

Well hair takes time to grow in. That is a signal that you are near starting your periods.

It just means that you are growing up. Usually, you will get pubic hair before you start your period. You will start it eventually. Good luck.

It means nothing.....except that you are perfectly normal. Hair usually appears before your period does.

it means your going through puberty, growing up. It's normal, you'll get your period within a few years.

you get hair first and then a few months later you should get your period, it could take up to a year...

you should get hair at least a year before your period. it is most likly that if you have had hair for 2 years, that you should get it VERY soon. dont worry its probably coming.

how old are you?? it's starting to grow on my private too,and I haven't had my period yet.
btw I'm gonna be 12 on Jan 1st

Oh no!! If you haven't had your period yet, you better shave that pubic hair! It's illegal to have pubic hair when you haven't started your period. It comes under public law 258.8a, sub paragraph c6.6.
