i definitely think the innocent man being in jail is worse..this is a waste of his life..and the ruining of his reputation..:( this could even cause the death of him..so its like committing of a crime in itself...

Well a guilty man who is free can harm more people than an innocent man who is in jail, so I would have to err on the side of caution and choose the option that would end in the greatest good for all....it is more wrong for a guilty man to be free, I would think.
