This is a normal reaction to a break-up. We always miss what we don't have any more, and blame ourselves for a situation that was bound to occur anyway. It takes two to make or break a relationship.

The feeling of depression will eventually fade. Find someone else to fill that empty void. I sense that you are young, and I can recall so many times in my youth when I had boyfriends who disappointed me. There are always others waiting around the corner. You'll go through a whole bunch of them until you find Mister Right. In the meantime, you'll learn how to judge character, and know what you really want out of life. Good luck and happy hunting!

i think we have all been there at one time or another. the break up whether it's with a spouse or with a girl or boy/friend. you wonder if you made the right decision should you go back and try it again. if you broke up there was a reason why and it was probably a good reason why. no matterhow much it hurts you need to get out of your house or apartment and enjoy life. go to a park or whatever just don't go to placels that the two of you used to go to together. make a clean break. do you have friends? go out with them with the understanding that they are not to bring his name up in conversation until you are ready to. it is hard and i know it is. i've seen my son go through this with 2 marriages in 7 years and my heart just felt for him. he never thought he'd get through it but he has by keeping busy and you will too.

It's a death of sorts, and you have to mourn the loss. Take the time to grieve, then move on. Remember, the way you are feeling is temporary.

u hv to do things, preoccupy your mind with many other things. an idle mind is a devils workshop. so get cracking and get busy. when busy, he will lapse further into nonentity. he is not worthy to be preoccupied with for so long. keep telling yourself this and it will be out. its tough but training your mind is a must. take care

whatever you do, please do not fill yourself up with ....... junk food!
Time and a new relationship will ease. Or, another way to avoid thinking about him (if you wanted to) is to think of answers for questions on this site... :-)
