pounding heat,
everything seemingly bright and happy.
no darkness,
everything exposed,
the temperature keeps rising.
pressure mounting,
hope vaporized,
everything just seems to shrivel away.
just a love song without feeling,
religion without any faith,
yet we still feel the need to take the bait.
