You just wrote the answer yourself.

f(x) = arctan(x) / sqrt(2 - x^2)

What does f(x) equal? Just look at the previous line to find out...

When f(x) = tan ^-1 (x) / (( root (2-x^2)) ---

f(x) = tan ^-1 (x) / (( root (2-x^2))
