Mina is a Persian name for a girl--it is spelled a little differently than your choice. I am not sure what it means--it may be a shortened version of Yasamina, which means little jasmine. It is a pretty name...my daughter's name is Yasamin, which is yet another variation :-)

I dont like it, plus kids will probably make fun of her saying things like Meena is so mean, etc.

Well, it's also the name of a place in Arkansas and, depending on how it's pronounced, could rhyme with Weiner.
(Nothing could be meena than to make me eat a weenah in the morning) to the tune of Nothing could be finah than to be in Carolina...etc. K ;o)

No it doesnt do it for me, sounds like it goes best with a pet, like a cat or small dog. Also when I read it, the word "mineral" popped into my head, lol. It also looks like you forgot to spell mean.

Don't use it. If you're currently pregnant then people will think you named her after a character on Disney Channel's new show Corey in the House.
