Fill a large jar with water and into the jar, put your old cigarette ash. Mix well. Sit down, and take a look at the color of that water, smell it's foul stench and imagine this dark muck inside your body, attacking your vital organs, covering them with it's slimy darkness, and consuming them, slowly, silently, but surely....
A friend told me about this, and the short answer is Yes, I did manage to quit! This was my third and final attempt. That was shortly after projectile vomiting... Then, every time I had the urge for a ciggy, I got out the jar, and put myself through the same disgusting routine. Pretty soon, just looking at the jar, made me gag!
I've been smoke-free for a year and three months and going strong! YOU WILL QUIT.

I just quit a 43 year addiction (and I mean a serious addiction) and my doctor tried me on CHANTIX and I have been smoke free since July 9, 2007! I really doubted it would work cause I hadn't mentally prepared for it to work.........BUT! CHARLES! IT WORKED>

This may sound really weird but I have heard that Hypnotherapy can help you quit! And maybe using Nicorette can also help. You can also try to pick up more activities and hang out with friends and family more and that may help you keep your mind off of it too. I hope this helps and I hope everything works out 4 you! =)

I chewed gum, regular gum not nicotine gum, and that worked for a solid 3 days... I bet the nicotine gum is really good for quitting, it's just to damn expensive though.

JUST DO IT.
i did but i had to start over but even so u just just keep starting over. If u really want to quit, u will. If not u will have to start over any number of times, but u just keep on trying. the pills and patches didn't work for me at all.
Good luck.

the patch works great.
my mom used to smoke a pack a day..
but since her heart attack last week,
she can't smoke anymore.
it's a terrible habit anyways.
but, they gave her the patch, and she
says thats her cravings are going away.
if you are not a patch person, i
heard that there is a new pills that you
take and it takes away your cravings
and makes you not want to smoke
ever again. but ask your doctor and
he/she will definitely help you out!
good luck!

Sucking on candy or chewing gum. Sugarless is the best way to go so you don't rot your teeth. Yes, it works.
