A New Hope is the most important of course, but I am a big fan of Return of the Jedi because it's the climax of the series.
I could have lived without Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Although Clones was by far the best out of the three. The less I saw Hayden Christiansen the better.
1. Return of the Jedi
2. A New Hope
3. The Empire Strikes Back
4. Attack of the Clones
5. Revenge of the Sith (the ending ruined it and was laughable)
6. Phantom Menace (was pointless)

Hey =D. I once had a very wise Star Wars fan ask me after I told him my favourite movies were Star Wars, "So do you like STAR WARS, or Hayden Christensen?" The truth is both! My favourite Star Wars movie...wow it's a close call between Empire Strikes Back and...*don't hate me* Revenge of the Sith. I really don't know why everyone hates the prequels! XD I loved Empire Strikes Back because 1) YODA! Wow, this is like Yoda at his best, bugging old Lukeums and R2 haha 2) LUKE I AM YOUR FATHER. That is the greatest line of movie history! That's such a great scene, very sad and traumatic :D 3) Leia and Han's relationship in this one is soo romantic and adorable. From their adorable kiss where C3PO interupts to "I know." Definetely one of my favourite couples of all time! Now the reason I like Revenge of the Sith is because 1) It makes me cry. This is the saddess of all the movies. Anakin and Obi's brotherhood relationship is so heartbreaking 2) The lightsabre battles. You have to admit, compare Ani and Obi's lava battle to Darth's and Ben's fight on the Death Star. haha, they got a little rusty in their old age! 3) The tradedgy of the story is really compelling, and admittedly the lines are really cheesy (IT'S ONLY BECAUSE I'M SO IN LOOVE) the whole Mustafar scenes between Padme and Anakin and Obi-Wan and Anakin are great! And Padme's death is a tear jerker. 4) Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, haha! <3

empires strikes back. it embodies everything in the trilogy (the better one). all the truths come out, and luke, leia, han, and every other good guy now has something really to fight for cuz almost everything was revealed in this movie. plus, i dont think anyone who saw that movie will forget the famous words, "No, I am your father!"
to me, this film just seemed to have a more edgier plot and interesting stories that made this movie stand out from the rest. the action scenes were better, the acting was pretty consistent throughout the three first films. but they did a good job that they didnt make some of the parts seem corny like the love between han and leia or darth vader's famous line whereas other films that tried the same effect would make it look corny (like some of the Marvel movies, transformers, you get the idea)
