How much will it cost to have an axle seal replaced on my truck?

2004 Chevy Silverado. My wife had my oil changed while I was at work and did not know to ask how much this would cost.

Warranty was up about 20,000 miles ago.

upwards of 400 dollars . but seeing it is a late model cant you find out if it is covered under warranty.

Should be around 320$ to 360$ quite a bit of work.The axle needs to come out.The differential cover will need to come off and need new fluid and gasket plus the price of the seal.Most times the differential fluid will get on the brake shoes and they will need replaced to.Hope this helps.
