Maybe you have an inner ear problem. Go to your doctor. Your inner ear effects your balance. Could also be a vision problem.

I was a lot like you when I was younger - I was always either falling down, tripping up, or running into things. I too broke a lot of stuff from running into it, dropping it or tripping and knocking stuff over! Eventually, I outgrew it, although I still have days every so often that I call my "klutzy days" where I run into stuff, drop stuff, etc. Although you could very well have an inner ear problem as one answerer suggested, and I would definitely get checked by a doctor for that, it could just be that you aren't as conscious of the things around you as you need to be. Also, you could just outgrow it! What helped me was to work on standing straight, being aware of my surroundings and people's personal space. I also used an old trick from like the 1950's that my mother taught me where you walk while trying to balance a large book on you head! Sounds crazy, but it helps you to find your "center". Good luck to you Honey, and take care!!

Slow down! if you take your time over things they wont go wrong.
Incidentally are you still growing? it is very common for people who are growing to be clumsy. This is because their brain is used do doing things with a smaller body, shorter arms and legs, and hasn't made the adjustment to the new body size. If this is the case your clumsiness will sort itself out once you stop growing.

Well, it could be that you are just at an awkward stage in your body development and you may just outgrow it. In the mean time have a good medical check to rule out anything like inner ear problems. You could also try taking classes in yoga or ballet to develop your balance and coordination. Move slowly so that you can control your body more effectively.

Go slow.
Keep your arms at your side, and your legs under your body. Don't make fast or sudden movements without first clearing the area, or making sure you have room to do so. Stay away from fragile objects.

Talk to dr about having your equilibrium (inner ear) checked out.
A g/f of mine recently discovered that is her clumsiness' cause.

My lady. At times like these, always brace for impact. And if stuck by another, take no prisoners.

You must have bad hand/eye coordination. I would suggest taking up the hobby of juggling.

Slow down and be mindful of your surroundings and how things operate. Everytime you go to make a sudden turn or movement, have it in your mind that something might be in the way. Also, be mindful of gravity (not like you have a choice).
