Ditch your "pal"

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh - to be a kid again and have such trivial issues to deal with. Here's the deal, a true friend never messes with her friends boyfriends. At the same time, the chances of you being with this boy for very long is slim. You will go through many boys before the drama ends and you know it's for real.

I would say your b/f is being honest w/you and good for him. I'm sorry to hear that a good friend actually did this behind your back & I'm sure it's hurting to you. SHE is the one who I woud confront. I'd let her know you have seen the proof, your b/f showed you what she'd written to him & you can't believe she would do this to you. Ask her why she tho't she had to do this against you & your b/f. Ask her if this is all your friendship means to her. She is the one who did the wrong. Your b/f did the rite thing & showed it to you. IF he had intentions of being w/her, he wouldn't have confided this w/you. Who needs a "friend" who is sneaky like she is & did this behind your back but has the nerve to face you! You've got him, you sure don't need her!

The only thing you can do. Leave them to it. While I sympathise, you cannot make someone do something.
Get nicer, more trustworthy friends. Remain dignified and graceful throughout. If he goes with her there is not much you can do - if he chooses you then you know you've got a good one! If he goes with her, dump them both. If he stays with you, dump her. Dump her either way and get an nicer firend

It is your friend that should make the decision, obviously your bf doesn't want to leave you, therefore your friend would have to deal with that, do you help her out by dealing with her heartache or do you breakup because the two of you had the unenviable luck to like the same guy.

Your friend is not being particularly nice. If she were a true friend she would not do things in order to upset you. Sit her down and talk to her and tell her firmly to back off. If she continues then ditch her she is not worth it as a friend and she is clearly not worthy of your friendship. Well done to your boyfriend for standing by you.

Sounds to me like it is the friend you should be dumping. From what you say, your bf has no interest in this so-called friend of yours and wants to be with you. Any friend who goes after anothers boyfriend is not a friend at all.

Ditch your best friend. But first, give her a chance to apologize, or explain herself. For all you know, it might have been a prank or something. Or even if she is serious, she might agree to stop trying to get together with him. The catch is if you break up with your boyfriend, you can't get mad if they end up getting together. It's a thin line, but it'll all work out eventually.

Your best pal wasn't your best pal...kapish? If your boyfriend really cares about your feelings, he will remain your boyfriend and not associate with the other intruder.
