My fiance' says that it is possible to train your mind to communicate with the other side. I am a bit skeptical, but I have noticed a few things that I really never have before. Just do some deep breathing techniques, and just sit there in silence, and feel your surroundings, and the most important thing is to keep an open mind.

I haven't seen even a single person in my fifty years of life who has capable of doing so. I haven't even heard about any body who could develop such capability.
However
you must have noticed that sometimes you and your friend say or think a same thing simultaneously. I name it as understanding because of having similarity of opinions and likings/dislikings.

Do you mean you are totally left brained and want to tap into the right brain???
The lucky people are in the middle, which to me, would mean practice what you are unable to do with what side of your brain you are most deficient in.
