Are you asking for a procedure? Is it larger then stock ( what it originally came with) - usually if the deck has same mounting tabs , you can go larger ( depending on motor size- for bigger decks, you need a bigger motor) .
I have 6 Murrays, with 12HP to 16HP motors- 38" to 40" decks- i have to say they all attach different, but similar. Theres a front hangar, off the front axle with a pin - then rear hangars/lift mechanism/engagement system. The deck belt goes around the lower pulley on the mower, underneath the belt retainers ( pieces of round metal that keep belt on the pulleys) , i usually put some never seize on the pins to keep them from wearing. I use a jack to lift the front of the tractor ( and block rear wheels , so wont roll) enough to slide the deck under the tractor. When all reattached, lower the tractor, then when its off, lower the deck all the way to a flat surface, to see if its level, if it isnt, then there should be some adjustment points in oder to make it level.
