she had unprotected sex about a month ago... and she was supposed to get her period on tuesday. it's NEVER been late before. she's finishing her 3rd semester at college and the stress never got to her all this time. it's saturday, and still no period... she's freaking out a lot. when should she take a test?

Tests can be taken up to 5 days BEFORE a missed period in most cases....

Take a test - Tests these days are 99% accurate and you can get 2 in a box so you can double check the result!

Tests are accurate from 2 days after conception

Pregnancy tests are cheaper than the stress involved. Rather than worrying, go to the store and get a test. Most are the same as would be used in a clinic (other than blood test).

now. A test can give a positive as soon as the day your period is due.

In two weeks, she can take a test now and it give her a wrong answer. Just wait two weeks so she can be absolutely sure.
