Your waters will leak right up until birth, so after you're out of the bath, dry yourself off and put a pad in your underwear. If it's wet in a short space of time, then yes your waters have gone.

Probably, you'd feel as though you were urinating without actually making yourself go.Hope I put my answer across okay.
My waters didn't break with my first pregnancy until I was heavily in labour. With my second, I couldn't stop leaking all the way to the hospital.
I'm sure you would know if your waters broke, even if in the bath.

If it's a little trickle you may not notice it immediately but in the off chance your waters do break in the tub you'll notice that once you've dried off you're suddenly wet again. My waters broke with no labor while chilling online stretched out in bed. I went into the bathroom thinking it was something else but as soon as i'd stand up again it gushed again. Just remember it's very rare for the membranes to rupture unless you're in active labor or the doctor has stripped your membranes for you.

If they break all at once, like mine did, yes...you'll feel it. Like another poster said, it's sort of a popping sensation, then the flood. It's also not clear...you'd see it in the bath water, unless you had colored bath salts or gel in the water.

Yes! Yes! and Yes! - When I was pregnant I used to think about this too. When they do break it is so noticiable and so large an amount of fluid you will be in no doubt. Also the fluid is not completely clear - it is like a hay colour so you will be in no doubt. It is not like going to the loo or owt - your bump will deflate a great deal too so trust me - you'll know babe!
Best of luck to you and your lovely wee yin.
Get heaps of sleep and rest NOW - you won't put your feet up for 3 years after!

I think so - it feels kind of like having a wee, except you are not in control of it.
When my waters broke, I was asleep and woke up wet and dashed to the toilet ... every time I stood up I was still 'weeing!' I was early so it did take me a few minutes to comprehend that I was in labour!

You probably would feel it, but then amniotic fluid may have some blood in it, or may be greenish in colour even, so you may see it in the bath water.

yes. First of all you can feel it, its a very unique sensation. And the waters will continue to leak all through out labor and delivery, it dosen't just dump out once and then you feel back to normal.
