Nobody has to earn my respect. I respect anybody that doesn't annoy me. Respect should not be looked at as a reward. It is a natural feeling toward others. On the opposite side of the coin is disrespect. Those who mistreat others show disrespect and don't deserve being respected.

When they are respectful & friendly to everyone else. When they aren't afraid to speak their mind and won't hesitate to give someone a hand.
