I have a twin brother who is mentally challenged, so people would call me a retard because I was his twin. But then they usually caught the end of my fist for it! :-)

My last name, and only one time.
In 8th grade two boys standing in front of our classroom alone. I came down the Hall to my locker and one of them said, " Here comes (Pale) (Pail) face. Then they both laughed. My last name was "POEHL" and it was pronounced as they where saying it.
Nothing really, but I remembered it & the scene in my mind of it, all these years. I feel so sad for all the cruel things that the bullies do and say to other children. It changes who they are and how they feel about themselves. God Bless Them.~jill

The way I dressed. I was goofy. Big hats, fluffy dresses tennis shoes and black tights. I loved to get dressed up when I was younger.
