You could try, and I'd say that is stretching the truth just a bit. You have to realize that when the breakdowns are released every morning, agents go through them and look for roles that fit the clients they currently represent. Let's say they find a role that suits you and they call and say "Look we got you an audition, you need to be in North Hollywood at 8 am tomorrow morning to audition". How exactly would you plan on pulling that off?

From an agent's point of view there are probably very few who would be willing to take a chance on you in this situation. You probably don't have the experience to be able to rely on your previous body of work to speak for itself in this scenerio.

My advice would be to forget about tracking down an LA agent for now. It would probably be a waste of money, headshots, postage etc.... Focus on finding an agent around where you are and start building a solid body of work. But eventually if you want to make a go of it, you'll need to be in LA. Just a simple fact of life.... Best of luck!

No way. You get a call for an audition the day before. You can't fly out on a moments notice. Good agents only sign trained and experienced actors. You aren't anywhere near ready to be thinking about that.

You can. As long as you have the resources to jump on a plane and be in LA with only one days notice. Actor Wes Studi was doing this when he lived in New Mexico, and his agent was in LA.

Ask both agents what they think of the idea.
Suppose they both have an audition for you the same day?
Think smart!
