Grass ignites at 454 degrees F, same as paper. So it's unlikely. It'll just frizzle and sizzle, ya'know?

I've seen grass so dry that a single spark makes it go up like it was doused with gasoline from someone throwing a lit cigarette out of a car window. Hot, dry, brittle grass is very flammable, but it still needs an ignition source.
