Make sure you're eating right, staying active, drinking a lot of water, and getting enough sunlight.

Staying busy is the best thing you can do to avoid depression. It allowed your body to regulate your hormones better.

If you want to avoid medication you'll need to be proactive about making yourself function in public and think different about things.

Our hormones get the best of us when pregnant, and its hard for a lot of women. Dont just lay around and feel miserable. Get out and do things. Go on some little dates with you bf, have sex, take a walk every day.

It will help a lot.

It is probably all your crazy hormones doing that to you. I think we all felt very scared at some point during our pregnancies even if they were wanted pregnancies. It is just a whole new life having a child, you don't really know what to expect and that can be really scary. Let me just tell you, I had my baby 2 months ago and it is great! You willbe so in love and so excited, all those feelings go away. I suggest trying your best to talk with your boyfirend though so he can help you with the feelings you are having now. Congrats and enjoy the pregnany it goes by fast!

With my 2nd son - I expierenced a lot of anxiety/depression. My doc put me on a very low dose of busbar (sp?). It worked miracles!

Good luck!
