I mean when the pit stop was finished and Alonso stayed there so Hamilton would have less time. And then he dident get to go for another lap cos he missed the checkered flag!

Unfortunately everything that happens in Mclaren is now being scrutinised by the media and fan alike.
Ron Dennis is standing by Alonso and sort of blaming Hamilton, why?
To stop all this none sense of punishing Alonso and the Ferrari team and fans to gloat.
I`m not saying that what Alonso did was correct but we will never know what went on the team radios.

I've never understood why the teams don't use two pit stalls? When a safety car comes out your second driver gets absolutely screwed! It is realistic that you can be 2nd behind a teammate and fall to 7th or 8th pretty easily! Having two pits stalls would make it possible to keep your cars 1 and 2 while taking advantage of pitting under the safety car.

Alanso shouldn't be punished its one of those deals, plus it really doesn't cost Hamilton anything (Qualifying!) Its not like this cost Hamilton 10 spots on the grid! If Hamilton is so upset about it go out and win the race and move forward! Don't be a whinning baby and cry about something that really doesn't matter.

Asked why, then did Alonso sit ahead of Hamilton in the pit box for some ten seconds, Dennis replied: "He's under the control of his engineer. He determined when he goes. That's the sequence. And if you think that was a deliberate thing, then you can think what you want. I have given you exactly what happened." says ron

Simple answer is YES. Alonso has been acting like a spoiled brat ever since Hamilton started to prove himself the better driver.

Ever since Lewis appeared on the F1 scene knives have been out to destroy him.No one expected the kind of performance he has given and under trying circumstances. This kid will blow nobody is going to stand the abuse he is getting.Alonso blatently obstructed him today and no orders came from the team, see how Ron Dennis through down his head set that is the proof.Answers dont allow swearing but I am going totally nuts on the incident. All this is giving the sport a bad press what they dont need.
Get out their Lou show em who the boss is on the track, then take that slimy spanish get to the back of the motorhome you know the rest.

If it was deliberate (and it certainly looked that way) Alonso was being very stupid, because a team manager can very easily ruin his championship hopes. That is the best punishment of all!

It should be for the team to decide how the matter is resolved.

At least Ferrari's policy of a number one driver avoids this embarassing type of incident.

Off course he should, but I bet nothing will happen except Ron Dennis will give him a bollocking. He must have been speaking to Shumey about spoiling tactics.
