It could have just been leftover blood from your period. Normally, it can start over towards the end of your cycle. You cannot lose your virginity without sexual penetration. But there ARE ways to lose the hymen, like horseback riding, or strenuous activies like exercising, or gymnastics.
And feeling guilt or bad after masturbating is completely normal! Everyone feels that way, and doing it is a good way to release your stress, but due to religious principles people may believe otherwise that it is "bad." So it's understandable to see that you were scared or upset.
Also, to maybe answer your question, masturbation is causing your body inside to react, so maybe the blood was a way of "releasing."
Hope this answered your question.

First of all--congratulations on deciding to wait until you're married! Not enough people doing that nowadays.
Now, the only way you could have lost your virginity is if you have sexual intercourse with a man. Since you didn't do that, you're still a virgin.
The blood was most likely from your period, but if not, it could have been from your hymen breaking. Hymens can break easily without inserting anything, especially if you're active. Women and girls can break their hymens from horseback riding, dancing, exercising, stretching, etc. Just because your hyman breaks doesn't mean you're not a virgin. You only lose your virginity if you have sex!
You're perfectly fine, hun, no worries. :)

Breaking your hymen and losing your virginity are two separate things. The ONLY way to lose your virginity is to have sex with someone. Girls can be born with an intact hymen, a partial hymen or no hymen at all. Those with hymens can break them just from being active (gymnastics and horseback riding are two common culprits.) But, no, without inserting anything it would be highly unlikely that you broke your hymen anyway. And you certainly didn't lose your virginity since there was no sexual intercourse involved.

Uh, breaking of the hymen is not losing your virginity. In fact, these days a lot of women are born without one, or it just breaks on it's own in childhood from whatever activity. It has nothing to do with anything. The only thing that can end your virginity is a real penis. Even a dildo does not have anything to do with virginity. It is really a shame that women can feel so ashamed of their natural desires and be so anxious over some little slip of tissue that doesn't have any 'magical' powers.

Yes! There are a zilloions ways to break your hymen without inserting anything.
You are still a virign until you decide that you are not. Who told you "hymen=virgin" becasue they are WRONG!! Virginity is a mental thing. You can ask 10 different people what exactly takes away your virginity and they could all be different!
Stop obsessing over "virginity" and just live your life as you want to. If that means not having sex, then fine! I bet there are thousands of girls that use vibrators that still consider themselves virigns. If you don't like that choice, then you have the right to.. but they are still allowed to.

OK its not bad if you masturbate by doing it on a pillow...I also have very Strong religious beliefs to and That's normal...but you didn't brake you Hymen. the only way to do that is by inserting something in there, but you also can brake you Hymen by horse back riding or something like that. But I really don't think you broke it when your on your pillow, your probably just over exaggerating about it.. but if this doesn't help you also can talk to your doctor with out your parent knowing!

Sometimes a young woman will tear their hymen when participating in sports or as the result of an accident. Unless the hymen is torn as the result of sexual activity where the male penis is inserted into the vagina, the female is still a virgin.

Hi,
you should never feel bad about masturbating it is a completely normal way to find out how your body works and to give you pleasure. Towards the end of your period you may get some bleeding which is perfectly normal, your masturbation did not make the bleeding worse.
The hymen can be broken using tampons, horse or bike riding.
It is a shame that so much is made of having an intact hymen in place

masturbatuion of any kind does not cause you to lose your virginity. The hymen is just a piece of tissue, it can be broken by vigiorus physical activity, by an injury or accident, or by sexual penetration. Virginity is about more than the hymen, it about abstaining from sexual contct with another person. What you did was normal, and not dirty or wrong.

don't worry too much about it. My gf used to feel exactly the same way she would masterbate on a pillow and then feel bad and dirty about it afterwards it's completely natural everyone does it. My gf was 16 at the time and now shes 20 and i JUST found out. But basically i'm sure you're feeling guilty and whatnot because you're young or not sexually developed yet you'll be fine once you're a bit older.
