For the hospital, you'll need a size about what you're wearing now. When your milk comes in, however, you really will need a bigger bra, preferably without padding in spandex cups. Medela sells some blissfully comfortable nursing bras that I thought were a lifesaver after my other nursing bras.
You should also avoid nursing bras with underwires because the pressure they put on your breast, even if you don't feel it, can clog your milk ducts and cause infection. Happened to me, I switched to the Medela bras and haven't had a problem since.
Sleeping nursing bras are really comfortable for the hospital, for sleeping, and in general. They're usually pretty simple, cotton, pull-over bras that pull down over your breast to feed.
You'll also want to bring a few nursing pads with you to the hospital just in case.
Good luck and happy birth wishes to you!

I would put off buying a nursing bra. You really don't know what size you breasts will be when your milk comes in. Also your breast could get even bigger in the next month to start off with. I bought two nursing bras when I was about 32 weeks and my breast just got bigger and bigger. Nothing I had fit. So I would wait until after you have your baby. You could buy an expensive sports bra in a bigger size, but that is all that I would do. I mean when you are in the hospital it doesn't really matter if you are wearing a bra or not.

Well I made this mistake of buying the size I was and had to go buy a bigger size. My son is now 3 months and they haven't shrunk down much. Yes, after about a month they are less full, but when your milk comes in between feedings they get bigger, and if your bra is a just right fit it may seem small when this happens. Good Luck with baby.

Find a nursing bra that will be comfortable to sleep in. Typically, they are shaped kind of like sport's bras and will allow for more adjustment of growth. You won't feel like a runway model walking out of the hospital anyway, so a t-shirt will easily cover your bra. After your milk comes in, you can start looking at fancier nursing bras. A sleep bra also comes in handy when adding support even while you rest (which can help reduce sagging). I bought mine at Motherhood Maternity, though I'm sure other maternity stores should carry them.

I would honestly wait. Buy a cheap one that you think will be close to your size for the hospital- but I wasn't prepared for the dramatic change my breasts went through. I stayed a small C cup (didn't change a bit) when I was pregnant with my son and in the hospital, after my milk came in- I went up to a large D. I wasn't expecting it and had to return most of my bras I had bought.

I went up more than a size- but I would get a nursing bra now and go to a C cup. You can adjust the front and back for comfort as well.

buy a c, just in case. Your milk will increase the size of your breasts at first, as time goes on and your milk evens out you may go back down to a B. Good luck

I would honestly wait until after you have the baby. I know things are getting excited for you, but your breasts will get full AND larger. Or they should. BUT if they don't you might be alright with a C cup...there are ajustable straps in the back you can fit accordingly to your chest. Congrats on your pregnancy and good luck!

I wouldn't -- apart from the milk-coming-in issue, I 'deflated' slightly somewhere just a bit past 34wks, and if there's a lot of room for the baby to "drop," your band size might change...
You don't need to go nuts packing a hospital bag. Unless you live in a TV sitcom, babies come with plenty of warning. Gather a few absolute essentials that aren't always so easy to find (earplugs?) when you're 37 weeks, and forget about it.
