I started my period at 12 and was still missing them every now and then at 17. There's nothing wrong. It could be stress, or a change in lifestyle or diet... or it could be absolutedly nothing.

Hey guess what?.... I'm 15 too. I've skipped my period many times before and nothing was wrong. It's just that because of our age, we don't have a natural pattern of our cycle yet. By the time we are about 18 we should have a steady pattern. If you have a reason to be worried then you should see a doctor, or tell your parents. It could just be a medical problem. Many things can cause a your period to be late. Such as allergies, stress, or even diets that effect our bodies. So don't worry, at mleast not yet.... I hope that helps. :)

At your age, it's still fairly common to be irregular (even if you've had your period for several years.) I wouldn't worry about it if it's a one-time thing. Your period is caused by a complex hormonal cycle that depends on ovulating. Even as an adult, it's not abnormal to occasionally have an anovulatory cycle, or one where no egg is released. When that happens, you don't have the correct balance of hormones to cause your period and your uterine lining stays intact until it simply starts to deteriorate on its own. If everything goes back to normal, consider it a fluke. If it happens again, ask your doctor.

I'm 15, too - and am also a virgin. My periods are pretty regular, but two months ago my period was three weeks late. I have heard that this can be caused from stress or an increase in physical activity. Since you are a virgin, I wouldn't worry about it to much. Hope this helps!

Periods can be very irregular as a teenager. A missed period could be due to stress, or a hormonal imbalance such a polycystic ovaries.
If you are not sexually active dont worry

I have noticed that my period changes with the weather/seasons. I actually had this talk with my mom when I was your age and she told me that was completely normal. Plus at the age of 15 it is common to have an irregular period.

stress, rapid weight loss or gain, illness, drugs (certain tranquilizers) may have disrupted the cycle. It could also be that you are still young and haven't developed a "cycle" yet. Many woman have shorter or longer cycles than the standard 28 days.
Talk to you doctor if you feel that there is something wrong.

There are no problems at all. Skipped periods are perfectly safe and highly normal for teenagers and young women.
