I don't think MLB and its umpires are politicall aware enough to let the Ozzie-Chavez connection affect their calls. My guess is that they're just having some calls against them, and that kind of stuff is cyclical.

No. Ozzie Guillen and his personality create all of this animosity with the umps. He says way too much stuff before thinking about it.
Attitude reflects leadership. The Sox have the talent, but the leadership has gotten old fast.
