Reading of palms is more interpretation than intuition, meditation, or prayer(?) . I would suggest you buy a copy of "The complete Encyclopedia of Practical Palmistry," by Marcel Broekman.

Terry's idea is a good one and I would add ' Hands A Complete Guide To Palmistry' by Enid Hoffman.
It's a fascinating study... but it is a study.
