I was on the observation deck the day before it happened.

A friend of a friend that I have had a few drinks with over the years was in the area at the time and was killed when the towers fell. I didn't know him very well but it still brings it home.

At the time, I was in the military. I was returning from a week off and Sep 11 was my first morning back. I was in the squadron lounge getting a cup of coffee when everyone was crowded around the TV. I gradually made my way up to the screen and saw what was going on. In the next few years, I have lost allot of friends. Not on the day but as a result of that day.

the thought from Bush on the commencing up replaced into that Al Queda did the attack, this is somewhat possibly. Al Queda is a terrorist team that recruits Arabs from everywhere in the middle East, specially Muslims. they have contributors from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc. So it is not basically one u . s . a .. Muslims make up 22% of the worldwide's inhabitants, the 2nd best faith interior the worldwide. So Canadian Muslims, or any Muslims, would desire to truly connect Al Queda notwithstanding it somewhat is totally no longer likely any Canadian would be in touch. that's extra possibly that a Muslim from the middle East become in touch than the different Muslim from different international locations. yet no longer ALL Muslims are undesirable, I unquestionably have numerous Muslim chum who say that Al Queda are extremists. Canada did supply their help interior the looking the terrorists. i comprehend that Canada is working with the U.S. to make a North American protection device in case of assaults on the two aspects. one thank you to get guidance approximately Canadian involvement with 9/11, you are able to pass to Canadian newspaper and seek for article from that factor. i'm hoping this helps.

No, but my cousin saw them falling too. I don't really like talking about that day.

My friend almost lost her aunt and uncle, though. But they missed the flight. And in the Pentagon that day, my other friend's cousin got the day off, so that was really lucky too.

I lost a sense of peace.
I lost faith in some people.
I lost my trust in human nature.

What a thing to do!

I understand how you feel. Must have been Traumatic, The World is better than that.

I lost my friend Zack, but I ended up finding him at McDonalds that morning on the way to school. We ended up getting breakfast, and walked to school together. It was when I was in Florida.
