The sad thing is I was do desperate for my coffee fix I drank one cup of the gritty stuff while a fresh pot was brewing.

Ohmygosh, that's so mindfully funny. I have forgotten to put the coffee into tthe filter once and then all I had was a 10 cup pot full of hot water, hahaa! Boy was I mad!

I've forgotten to put the filter and the grounds, but I have never poured coffee grounds in without a filter.

I have done that many times, especially when I was a waitress and we were really busy...got in a hurry, forgot the filter..oops, coffee grounds in the coffee!

Never... but back when I was a waitress, I'd sometimes forget to put water in my coffee pot at home lol

Many, many times. What a mess! Same thing happens if you happen to get two filters stuck together and put them in there!

Yes. I've done that too.
One time, instead of pouring fresh water into the back of the coffee pot, I poured yesterday's coffee into the back instead of fresh water.

i have and sometimes i forget to turn the thing on to make the coffee after i have done everything.
