I'm a professional boxer & i think i'm pregnant, i'm not sure yet, and it's a little early to take a test, but i have a match coming up and i'm wonderin if it would be a problem for the baby ( if i am pregnant).

if you think your pregnant it may not be a good idea, however i was sparring 4 nights a week the first month of my pregnancy and i have a healthy 2 yr old now. the baby is pretty small and pretty well protected, but if i were you i would try to avoid any fights until you know for sure... do what you think is best, i think if i might be pregnant i wouldn't, only because i have been trying since my daughter was born and i wouldn't want to risk it. good luck, and don't forget to block

You should definatly not fight, there allready is a great risk of having a miscarriage before 12 weeks so I really would not do it. If you got punched in the stomach hard something very serious could happen to your baby even though its so small it can still be harmed so I would not take the chance.

It would not be good for the baby, but i can promise you that many woman have put their bodies through hell before they knew they were pregnant, and have wonderful babies anyway.

I carried huge rocks, chopped wood with an ax, did heavy remodeling, biked, hiked and all sorts of crazy things before I knew i was pregnant.

Nothing can make you feel as good as taking that extra precaution though. Would scrapping a match ruin everything?

I think you have been hit in the head one too many times!!! This is a common sense question. Before you go through with this up coming . . . be sure you are not pregnant. Hopefully you are not because it doesn't sound like you are ready!

Well considering the first 3 months are the most delicate, it probably isnt a great idea. they say it is safe to exercise but i think boxing is a step above exercise. good luck.

It could be a very serious issue. If you get hit hard enough, you could have a miscarriage at this very early stage.
