This was more of an adult cartoon. There was a scene from it on The movie "The Cell" she was watching it on TV. The little people were like roaches or something and there were traps for them.

the smurfs? they were little blue elf people, and that evil guy always tryed to keep them in this cage. but oh wait, that was a kid cartoon.

The Littles,but they didn't keep them as pets,they lived inside the walls of the house,and only the children knew about them.
