ok this girl is traveling with this demond (i think thats what he is) any way when he fights the monsters and beats them they turn into cards and he can eat them and become stronger with their power. i think that she is also traveling with a like type of bear. so type of animal any way.

the show is called shinzo and the girls name is yakumo and the guys names are mushra terrain,sago,kutal. and mushra, sago, and kutal are not demons they are terrains.

Mashuranbo/Mushrambo, also known as Shinzo.
It's one of those inspired by 'Journey to the West' stories that took place in post apocaloptic Earth.
I personally prefer the series "Asobot Senki Goku", the girls are more prettier, plus the comedy is wilder.
Plus a calm male Sanzo is preferable than a female one acting like she's a mature person. The character Sanzo might be an overbearing priest who kept giving lectures, but it's not exactly making it more pretty to see it being played by a female.
I prefer the originial concept of Yakumo, where she's a wilder anti-social loner no-nonsense character similiar to the Sanzo in "Saiyuki".

I've been re-watching it, and it's towards the end of the series so - lucky you if you're an insomniac, you can watch it from the beginning!
