Its totally normal, and only gets more pronounced from here. The uterus fills the pelvis completely, up and over too. And the baby moves into the birth canal more and more, putting more pressure on there.

It causes nerves to hurt, and tendons to pull, and your pelvis to actually stretch open.

To be safe you probably should stay in bed today. You don't want that baby coming this early. Take a warm bath then get into bed. Trust me i went into labor at 32 weeks and if i had relaxed and laid down it probably would have helped. If you start having contractions go to the hospital and they will monitor you and give you medicine if in fact you are in labor. Good Luck.

hi i too had this prob when i was pregnant for first time ..

what i did was this ..
i used to take breaks while walking and sit on a chair or seater or sometimes in the car too .. and take a deep breath and exhale with mouth this used to relax me and get a little walk and when its like pain bothering me i used to go home and rest on bed get my assistant .. i do prenatal massages at home and hired a girl who can clean the mess ..

i trained her so i can get masssage for me ;) for little mild pains ..

I took hand full of coconut oil applied around where i feel pain so that when i lie that girl can massage without me to get stress showing her where the pain is ... this way she used to do mild massage there and sometimes when dont have anyone to help me this way i used to sit on pregnancy exercise ball .. ahhhh it gave me a great relax and exercise too ;) ... when i felt relaaxed i keep resting fora while .... in sofa wathcing or reading .. eat something drink my favourite chickoo milk shake ..

Try it ..if u feel happy let me know i have more tips like these ;)

Best of luck

yes it is just the baby moving down. and if the head is down then definitly expect it. I have been having it for a while now i cant remember when it started but i am 38 weeks and 4 days. it just gets worse as the baby gets bigger.
