low oil pressure reading on the gauge (if you have a gauge)
if you have warning lights it would be on.
Check the sensors first, could be a simple problem
if there is engine noise, you may have big problems

UR oil pump will have lower pressure reading on the dash gauge if it is going out --- or if the best thing to do is get an oil change and quick fflush of the oil pan and new oil filter and see if that improves the '''oil pressure''''' if it does not make any diff then you gotta get a new oil pump (((get the estimate 1st)))) and then happy motoring ---- the oil pump is a very vital part of the engine life ... don't drive 'til it's fixed....................

In the past 40 years of driving---never changed or heard of anyone changing the oil pump... Glad you told us what is wrong with the car so we could help????

Dash instrument will indicate low oil pressure. Don't wait to fix it, or you will have far greater problems.
