No - it isnt big enough. Do the job right with proper tools or have to re-do it at even more expense!

All you have to do is look at the difference between a brad and a roofing nail. You can buy nailers for roofing nails or rent one. You would do just as well to use Elmer's glue as to try to put a roof on with brads. It would be a lot of work for nothing.

Bite the bullet and rent a roofing nailer. You are already saving enough by doing your own roof. Don't push it, rent the nailer and do it right. It will make the job go faster and you don't want to be up on the roof any longer than necessary.

brad nails are a small diameter nail with no head and the very first wind storm will have the shingles laying in your back yard. Roofing nails have a larget head to hold the shingles

thats a rediculas qest. but ill answer it anyway no there are nails for roofing and they are called roofing nails and theres a good reason for that i hope ur roof isnt to high because with that quest. u should not be on the roof at all for ur own safty call a roofer there cheeper than the emergency room doctors
