Soon, we will be driving to Yosemite and wish to visit lake Tahoe. What resort do you reconmend, coming from Yosemite, for a family to stay at? Maybe an area with a lake beach, and a neihborhood near by with a store to stock up on our grocery supply. If you can, name the place, and even the address so I can do some research on the net and Google maps. Thanks for your help.

we stayed at a little hotel in Yosemite, and there was a tour bus that took us up which was really cool, that is some scary driving around there, as for Lake Tahoe, I'm not sure I have never been there, but I have heard it's really nice.

Whenever I go to tahoe, unless I'm in a cabin, I like to stay by restauraunts and stores and stuff to stock up. Then I either walk or drive down to the lake. It is usually more convenient.
