Mail the deposit slip and any checks but endorse them not only with "for deposit only" but also your account number otherwise any one could deposit them into any bank account.

Wells Fargo Bank By Mail

You can mail a deposit to any bank where you have an account. Endorse the check you want to deposit with "For Deposit Only". Then sign your name. Include a filled out deposit slip.

Don't send cash thru the mail. If you have cash that you need to deposit, convert it to a money order before mailing.

Call them to get an address to use. Include you account # (preferably a deposit slip) and the check you are depositing. NEVER mail cash, if it is lost in the mail, it is untraceable. Don't except the deposit to clear on any given date. Even if you know when the bank's mail room receives the deposit, it may have missed the cutoff time to post that day.

NOTE: If you endorse a check "For Deposit Only" & your account number, you DO NOT have to sign it or the deposit slip.

That being said, I also have NOTHING good to say about Wells Fargo.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOhj3

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

sure -- just endorse the check if a two party check " deposit only" and enclosed a filled out deposit slip. if one party just fill out the check and put with a deposit slip remarks put "deposit only," same rules apply if you use their night drop box.

of course i am a nervous nanny -- since it is going through the mail and be handled by a few folks i would call the bank and insure they got the deposit before i wrote any checks-- with wire transfers such as ss checks not to worry.

You statement is contradictory. You say he had enough in the account to cover the check if it bounced, then you say he didn't. If the bank credited the check to his account and it then bounces, yes, they will reverse that deposit back out. ALL banks will do that. If that then results in a overdraft, fees will apply. It appears that the real problem is his employer.
