This link provide answer on how to setup Wanadoo email account on your vista machine (having simple steps with pictures):-

http://help.orange.co.uk/documentDisplay.do?gotoLink=0&docType=1006&contextId=760:0.0&clusterName=DefaultCluster&contentId=704d8e57-25ed-4fcd-af9e-6424f418c5c0&responseId=8d2e8ca9895d3ec8:100ebec:11431ecc4b5:-1bd5&groupId=1&answerGroup=0&score=-1&page=http://ESERVER_c679c3db-dda1-42d5-b742-6c9fc5b66f24.xhtml&result=15&excerpt=KB15279+Windows+Vista+-+how+to+set+up+Mail+for+the+first+time&resultType=5002#http%3A%2F%2FESERVER_c679c3db-dda1-42d5-b742-6c9fc5b66f24.xhtml

By calling microsoft e-mail account, I assume it meant Window Mail (inbuilt email client for Microsoft Vista)

Hope it was helpful.

I wish people would be more clear with their questions! I gather you mean that you are using "Outlook" rather than OE. If that's the case and you still have OE installed, you can get the settings from OE. If not, look in your "Internet Options". Failing that, your POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) settings are likely to be - Incoming > mail.wanadoo.com and Outgoing >smtp.wanadoo.com. Your user name and password are the Wanadoo ones. Then again, I'm not that sure because Wanadoo doesn't LOL I'd suggest getting a decent ISP. You pay for what you get. Pay peanuts and get a crap service. Myself, I'm with BT Broadband (basic with no mail accounts) and I pay Yahoo $20 per year for my POP E-Mail. I've used Yahoo since the very beggining (10 years) and BT has never let me down. As for Microsoft, they don't have POP Mail accounts. MSN have online accounts (Hotmail).
