An old friend of mine.. no-one comes close to his intellect and humour and I miss him in my life.
The situation is complicated but have not spoke for over 3 years and now he is married to someone else. For 7 years though he kept asking me to marry him but I just was not in love with him although I adored him as a pal - if that makes sense..
Cannot blame him for making a life with someone else at all - but do miss him terribly and like all truly genius/unique/talented people, he is hard to replace amoung the crowd.
I am still really close to his sister and she misses him in the same way too so I know it ain't just me. She hardly sees him now either and we often compare how his wit/generosity etc are sorely missed - he lives in Edinburgh now.
If the phone rang and it was him it would make my year.

Hahahaha! very sturdy! It reminds me when I had referred to as the police some "peeping Tom" and it took them half-hour to respond.
